Paid strategy for Capcom?
Free-to-play resident Evil will arrive in a few days on mobiles, with the promise of making us embody the emblematic characters of the saga in a strategy and survival game where you will have to build your base little by little while exploring the surroundings. Aniplex and JOYCITY have just announced that This Resident Evil: Survival Unit will be available from November 18, in the early morning, around 3 a.m.. It will be available on this date in France, but not everywhere in the world according to Gematsu, since several Asian countries will have to wait until early 2026.
The game will introduce us to a new story in the company of Leon, Claire, Jill and company, with branching scenarios depending on your decisions. We can already bet on an economic model that will eye gacha, relying on the image of characters adored by Resident Evil fans. The kind of title that generally doesn’t last long, but who knows, we’re not immune to a pleasant surprise.
