Forget exclusives at Shift Up
We already knew it, Shift Up is now turning to multiplatform and we wouldn’t be surprised to see Stellar Blade arrive one day elsewhere than on PC and PlayStation 5. What is, however, quite certain is that Stellar Blade will not be released exclusively on PS5. This is what the studio says during a vast recruitment campaign for this next episode, directly described as a multiplatform title:
“ As part of this recruitment, ShiftUp is looking for talented individuals to collaborate on the creation of a next-generation cross-platform action game. […] The next installment of the Stellar Blade franchise, currently in development, is a AAA cross-platform action game that expands on the company’s globally successful universe. Scheduled for release on various platforms, including consoles and PC, the game will take on the graphic style and narrative universe of its predecessor, thus offering an even more immersive gaming experience. »
So we can be almost sure that this time, the game will arrive at the same time on PC and PlayStation 5… and perhaps on other platforms? We will probably know more if Shift Up formalizes a new port of the first one soon. Stellar Blade.
