Steam and Epic Games are offering 6 free PC games not to be missed in February

February 2026 has a big surprise in store for PC gamers: six games and content are currently available on Steam and the Epic Games Store, some of which are worth $25. “It’s rare to see so many free games offered simultaneously,” explains GameRant.
This is therefore the ideal opportunity to enrich your library, especially when you know the average price of a game today.

This operation mainly brings together independent games, sometimes little-known, but which are worth the detour. Significant bonus: an exclusive extension is also offered for Pixel Gun 3D, provided you have installed the base game, which is also free.

Games to collect now (with deadlines)

Here is the full list of available offers, with dates to watch:

  • Arabian Gulf (Steam) – until February 8
  • Magellania (Steam) – until February 9
  • Botany Manor (Epic Games Store) – until February 12
  • Poison Retro Set (Epic Games Store) – until February 12
  • SunBlockers (Epic Games Store) – until February 27
  • NightReaper2 (Epic Games Store) – until February 28

The game Botany Manor particularly attracts attention. This critically acclaimed puzzle game is offered for free although it usually costs $25. “Botany Manor is normally listed for around $25.” And for those who want to go further, the Epic Games Store has already announced that “Nobody Wants to Die” and “The Darkside Detective” will be offered from February 12.

Heavy Rain free on February 18: be careful, limited stock

The icing on the cake is that a one-off event will allow players to obtain free Heavy Rain on February 18, via a distribution organized by Lenovo. “Lenovo’s Legion gaming community will be giving away a limited number of free Steam keys for Heavy Rain,” the post states. This classic narrative game, rated 10/10, will only be offered in very limited quantities: it is better to activate notifications now.

Indie gems to discover for free (or almost)

Although some titles have low ratings at the moment, they represent a great opportunity for the curious. “These games are often created by very small teams or even solo developers,” points out GameRant.

This is also what gives them their charm. Enter a reaper running from the cops in NightReaper2photophobic zombies in SunBlockers or the interstellar exploration of Magellaniaevery player will likely find a concept that intrigues them. And in the worst case scenario? You will have tried without spending a cent.
