It was announced today on the official X account of the anime adaptation of “Saga of Tanya the Evil” (Japanese: “Youjo Senki”) that the second season will be broadcast in Japan from July 2026. You can find a first trailer below.
Continuation of Studio NUT
The second “Saga of Tanya the Evil” season is being created under the direction of director Takayuki Yukimoto (episode director on “Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant”) at Studio NUT. Kenta Ihara (“Sentenced to Be a Hero”) is writing the script, while Yuuji Hosogoe (“Blue Exorcist”) is contributing the character design.
The main roles of the Japanese voice cast once again include Aoi Yuuki (Madoka Kaname in “Puella Magi Madoka Magica”) as Tanya Degurechaff and Saori Hayami (Yor Forger in “Spy x Family”) as Viktoriya Ivanovna Serebryakov.
The streaming service Crunchyroll offers the twelve-part first season of the action series and the accompanying 2019 movie on demand. A simulcast of the new episodes has not yet been confirmed.
