How a builder recycled Yoda and Darth Vader into a striking LEGO Keanu Reeves bust

Commissioned by the site The Brothers Brick to test the two sets, the Canadian Trevor Pearson-Jonesaka moptoptrevquickly put the notice aside. Accustomed to dismantling his boxes to power his MOCs, he saw in the Yoda plus Vader combination the ideal basis for a bust caricature of Keanu Reevesperiod Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure.

The abundant tan of the bust Yoda served as his complexion, olive for the shirt and gray pieces for a salt and pepper beard. The black curves of Darth Vader become hair and blazer, until the two mudguards transformed into locks. Trevor assures that he only used the parts from the two boxes and says he is “very satisfied with the result”.
