What has already become apparent in the last few weeks is now official: The anime hit “Solo Leveling” has reached the milestone of one million ratings on the Crunchyroll streaming platform. We summarize below.

Ironically, this success came just a few days after the rather sobering performance at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2026, where the action anime “only” received two awards despite ten nominations.
In addition to the impressive total of one million reviews, the average rating also speaks for itself: With a strong 4.9 out of 5 stars, the anime adaptation of the webtoon series of the same name achieved an outstanding result.
Even though »Solo Leveling« once again underlines its enormous popularity, there is still no official confirmation of a third season or a possible sequel film.
However, those responsible at Crunchyroll and Aniplex have emphasized several times in the past few months that they are continuing to work intensively on the future of the franchise and that they are taking the expectations of fans very seriously.
Until then, fans can watch the first two seasons with German and Japanese voice acting on Crunchyroll – or alternatively watch the repeat on ProSieben MAXX from June 19, 2026.
