The information was confirmed this week: Silent Hillthe latest addition to the legendary psychological horror series, will soon host a Free DLC resulting from a collaboration with Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake.
The studios Neobards Entertainment, Team Ninja And Koei Tecmo released an official statement: “The terrifying gameplay becomes even more frightening thanks to a unique collaboration with Silent Hill f, the latest installment in the popular psychological horror franchise Silent Hill, which has sold over 13 million copies worldwide. Costumes from this collaboration will be added later as free downloadable content. More details regarding this future update will be announced in the coming weeks.”
For the moment, few details have leaked, but everything suggests that the upcoming costumes will be inspired by the emblematic heroines of the two sagas.
What content to expect in this free DLC on PS5?
On the side of Fatal Frame II Remakealready available for pre-order for a release on March 12, an outfit inspired by Silent Hill was confirmed. It is therefore probable that the Silent Hill DLC f includes in return a costume linked to Mio Amakuracult heroine of the Fatal Frame series.
PS5 players can therefore expect a free update in the coming weeks, which will enrich Silent Hill via an exclusive aesthetic touch. No gameplay has yet been presented, but the partnership between the two cult licenses is already fueling fans’ impatience.
Let us remember that Silent Hill is currently available on the PlayStation Store, with a standard edition for $69.99 and a Deluxe edition for $79.99. A double pack including Silent Hill and the remake of Silent Hill 2 is also offered at $59.99.
