With the opening of an official website, it was announced today that the manga series “The Seven Knights of the Marronnier Kingdom” (Japanese: “Marronnier Oukoku no Shichinin no Kishi”) is receiving an anime adaptation in the form of a TV series. Starting in October 2026
»The Seven Knights« is directed by Kiyoko Sayama (“To Your Eternity”) at Studio JCSTAFF. Shinzou Fujita (“The World is Still Beautiful”) is writing the script, while Yuriko Maeda is contributing character design.
The series is scheduled to start on Japanese television in October 2026. A specific date and details about the speaker cast are currently pending. We will keep you updated about this as usual.
The original manga series of the same name written by Nao Iwamoto has been published in Shogakukan’s “Flowers” magazine since September 2016. The work is currently not commercially available with a German or English translation.

In the Kingdom of Marronnier there live seven brothers who are also knights. In order to strengthen relations with the seven neighboring countries, her mother, General Baribara, sends each of them as ambassadors to one of the countries.
On their travels they are meant to foster friendship and trust, but they end up in numerous adventures and political challenges. Together, the brothers carry the future of their kingdom on their shoulders.
