Second season of “Avatar: The Lord of the Elements” coming soon to Netflix + trailer


The streaming service Netflix today released a trailer and further details for the second season of the live-action adaptation of “Avatar: The Lord of the Elements”. You can find the video and a visual below.

From June 25, 2026

The second season of “Avatar: The Last Airbender” will be released on June 25, 2026 with a German dubbing and in the original English language with German subtitles on Netflix.

Nickelodeon Productions, Rideback and Albert Kim Pictures are once again responsible for production. Albert Kim and Christine Boylan serve as showrunners, while Takeshi Furukawa composes the music.

The main roles again include Gordon Cormier (“The Stand”) as Aang, Kiawentiio (“Anne with an E”) as Katara and Ian Ousley (“Dead Girls Don’t Lie”) as Sokka. Matt Yang King voices Appa and Momo.

The eight-episode first season of the adaptation of the Nickelodeon animated hit was released on Netflix on February 22, 2024. A third season has already been confirmed.

Avatar: The Last Airbender follows young Avatar Aang on his journey to master all four elements to restore balance to the world.

After saving the Northern Water Tribe from the Fire Nation, Aang, Katara and Sokka move on to recruit the Earth King as an ally against Fire Lord Ozai.
