Publisher AniMoon Publishing announced today that it will release the second season of »DAN DA DAN« in a limited Steelcase edition on Blu-ray. We summarize the first details below.
Disc release from May 2026
The Steelcase edition of the second “DAN DA DAN” season will be released in three volumes with a separately available collector’s slipcase from May 2026. The sale takes place exclusively in the AniMoon shop, where the Blu-rays can also be pre-ordered.
polyband anime is also planning a disc release of the sequel to the mystery comedy anime. This is scheduled to start on April 24, 2026 and will consist of three digipak volumes, with the first DVD and Blu-ray volume in the limited first edition being accompanied by a collector’s folding box. However, pre-ordering is not yet possible.
Last year, both publishers released the first season in their own edition. The discs included in both editions were produced by polyband anime with the same content and contain both the original sound and the German dubbing produced by the streaming service ADN.
The twelve-part second season of “DAN DA DAN” ran for the first time from July to September 2025 on Japanese television as well as on Crunchyroll, aniverse, ADN and Netflix in simulcast. The third season will start in 2027.
