The ProSiebenSat.1 Group has expanded its content deal with Sony Pictures Entertainment to include new anime series from Crunchyroll. We summarize.
New anime for Joyn+
After ProSiebenSat.1 had already secured several titles from Crunchyroll for the free area of Joyn at the end of 2025, the expansion of the anime offering is primarily focused on Joyn+ and the media group’s pay TV channels.
The planned new additions to the premium range include: »Hell’s Paradise«, »Kaiju No. 8« and “Tokyo Revengers”which will also be broadcast on pay TV. “Tokyo Revengers” is already available and can be seen in double episodes on ProSieben FUN every Monday at 9:40 p.m. since June 1, 2026.
The agreement also includes the free TV premieres of several anime titles from the Sony Pictures Entertainment catalog. We will of course keep you up to date with further details.

»Hell’s Paradise«
The anime adaptation of »Hell’s Paradise« will soon be available in the paid area of Joyn published.
Action:
Towards the end of the Edo period, the condemned ninja Gabimaru is given the chance to be pardoned: he is supposed to recover the elixir of life from a mysterious island.
He travels there with the executioner Yamada Asaemon Sagiri and meets other condemned people, deadly creatures and enigmatic rulers. Only those who survive can return with the elixir.
»Kaiju No. 8«
The action series »Kaiju No. 8« will also appear soon in the premium subscription Joyn. A date is currently not known.
Action:
Japan is constantly under attack by Kaiju. Kafka Hibino eliminates their remains, but dreams of the defense force. When he gets a new chance, he suddenly turns into a Kaiju himself.
“Tokyo Revengers”
The first season of “Tokyo Revengers” is now available with a German language version Joyn+ be streamed.
Action:
For years, Takemichi Hanagaki led a bleak life until he learned that his former girlfriend, Hinata Tachibana, was killed by the feared Tokyo Manji gang. Shortly afterwards he is pushed in front of a train and experiences the unimaginable: he travels back twelve years into the past, to his school days.
Determined to change Hinata’s fate, Takemichi takes advantage of his second chance. In order to rewrite the future, he must gain the trust of the members of the Tokyo Manji Gang and delve deeper into the dangerous world of rival youth gangs. But every change in the past has unforeseeable consequences.
