Pokémon Legends ZA: what free Pokémon are offered via HOME?
The update celebrates the connection with Pokémon Legends: ZA by offering a trio of Baron starters: Germignon Baron, Gruikui Baron And Kaiminus Baron. These Alpha forms are larger and more powerful than their regular versions, ideal for strengthening your team early.
The three Pokémon reach level 5 and each have an attack normally learned only via CT in the game. Germignon already knows Magical Bursta very practical Fairy attack to cover Dragon and Dark types. Gruikui leaves with Crazy Lightninga rare physical Electric move on a Fire starter. Kaiminus starts with Dracoclawgiving a Water-type a Dragon tool from the start of the game.
The trio is locked non-chromatic, so no Shiny to expect via this distribution. Another important detail: these Barons starters can only be used in Pokémon Legends: ZAbut they facilitate access to the new Mega-Evolutions of Meganium, Roitiflam And Aligator.
How to collect your free Pokémon in Pokémon Legends ZA via HOME?
First step: update Pokémon Legends: ZA And Pokémon HOME to their latest versions on Switch and mobile, then launch your game and save. From the Switch version of HOME, select your ZA save and transfer at least one Pokémon captured in that game to a HOME Box.
As soon as this transfer is done, close the Switch version and open Pokémon HOME on mobile. The Poke Boy character redirects you to the menu Mystery Gifts : This is where you can download Germignon Baron, Gruikui Baron and Kaiminus Baron, each stored in your HOME Boxes.
You can then send these Barons starters back to Pokémon Legends: ZA from HOME. Be careful with the transfer rules: a Pokémon from ZA cannot return to the old main games, and any Pokémon from a previous title that reaches ZA via HOME will no longer be able to go back. Good news on the other hand, the basic version of HOME is free and does not require a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, only a Nintendo account and an internet connection.
