The year 2026 is off to a strong start for the Pokémon universe. A wave distribution schedule
Rather than delivering everything at once, Nintendo chose a phased approach. Four waves are planned, each active for one week only. Here is the full schedule:
- Wave 1 : from January 26 to February 2, 2026 (until 1:59 a.m.)
- Wave 2 : from February 2 to 9, 2026 (until 1:59 a.m.)
- Wave 3 : from February 9 to 16, 2026 (until 1:59 a.m.)
- Wave 4 : from February 16 to 23, 2026 (until 1:59 a.m.)
With each wave, new exclusive icons are proposed. In all, more than a dozen are expected by the end of February. You will therefore have to be reactive if you wish to complete the complete collection.
How to get your Pokémon ZA icons on Switch?
These gifts are exclusively accessible through the Nintendo Switch Online program. To access it:
- Turn on your Switch console (1 or 2).
- Open the app Nintendo Switch Online.
- Go to the section “Missions and rewards”.
- Select the available icons and exchange them for 10 platinum points each.
These platinum points are free internal currency, accumulated by completing small tasks: opening the eShop, playing certain games, or participating in community events.
Good to know : if you have been a subscriber for several months, you may already have a comfortable stock of unused points.
