Pokémon Scarlet and Purple launches a 7-star raid with a level 100 Pokémon to capture

A level 100 Pokémon with the Dragon type, a Powerful badge, and availability limited to a few days. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are putting the pressure back on with a 7-star raid designed for the most organized teams.

Since February 20 and until February 26 at 11:59 p.m., players can face Jungko in a particularly formidable Teracrystallized version. The event is part of the series of weekly challenges set up by Game Freak, but this appearance is not insignificant. Jungko returns with an optimized profile to put the best-practiced strategies to the test.

A 7-star raid calibrated for experienced teams

7-Star Teracrystal Raids represent the pinnacle of cooperative content in Pokémon Scarlet and Purple. These clashes require rigorous preparation, effective coordination and precise choice of types and talents.

In this new event, Jungko appears directly at level 100 with the Overpowered badge. It adopts the Teracrystal Dragon type, which profoundly modifies its natural resistances and weaknesses. Players can’t just rely on their knowledge of the original Grass Pokémon.

Its characteristics are as follows:

  • Level: 100
  • Teracrystal: Dragon
  • Nature: Pressed
  • Talent: Load shedding
  • Chromatic: Never
  • Capturable: Only once per save
  • Badge: Overpowered

On the attack side, Jungko has Leaf Blade, Slaughter, Draco Dance and Lightning Fist. A combination that allows him to accelerate his offensive power and cover several opposing types.

A unique capture that reinforces the issue

As with all raids at this level, capture is limited to one time per save. This means that while the raid can be restarted to accumulate rewards, Jungko can only be added to the team once.

This system creates a particular dynamic. Players seek to optimize their first victory in order to secure the Pokémon in the best possible conditions. The pressure is even greater as the event only lasts a week.

Jungko had already benefited from a similar event two years earlier. His return confirms Game Freak’s desire to reintroduce iconic starters in demanding competitive formats.

Access conditions and procedure to follow

Not all players can access 7-star Teracrystal raids immediately. It is necessary to have completed the main story of Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Purple and completed the associated post-game activities. Players who have not yet completed this step can join a host who has unlocked the content online.

To activate the event:

  • Open the Poké Portal from the main menu
  • Access the Mystery Gifts section
  • Select “Receive Poké Portal news”
  • Restart the game to update the raids

An internet connection is essential for the black crystals corresponding to 7-star raids to appear on the map.

Temporary content that maintains the dynamics of the game

Even several years after their release, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet continue to benefit from regular events. This weekly format maintains community activity and encourages players to return regularly.

As the news around the franchise intensifies as it approaches its 30th anniversary, these special raids are a reminder that the in-game content remains active and renewed. Jungko will remain available until February 26 at 11:59 p.m. After this date, the raid will disappear from the Poké Portal until a possible reappearance.
