Pearl Abyss discusses DokeV, which is not abandoned and which the studio wants to release quickly

Any news this year for a release in 2028?

DokeV keeps us waiting, and since Crimson Desert is not yet completely finished at Pearl Abyss (because of the numerous patches in preparation), it is not certain that the studio’s colorful game will reappear in the coming months. This does not mean, however, that the title has been paused in favor of Crimson Desert. In an interview with YNA, relayed and translated on ResetEra, the group’s CEO, Heo Jin-young, indicates that DokeV has not been neglected and the studio’s goal remains to release the game quickly :

We will not forget the preparation of new titles like DokeV. The latter is currently in production so that it can be released quickly after Crimson Desert, and our goal is to reveal the progress of development at the appropriate time. »

From there to hoping to see the title again this year during Summer Game Fest or the Game Awards, there is only one step. After all, the CEO had already indicated last month that DokeV could be released two years later Crimson Desertbut that was before knowing if it was going to work and seeing how tracking the game was going to require a lot of resources. A release in 2028 undoubtedly remains probable for DokeVand we hope to know more this year.
