Switch versions will remain above the belt
Dispatch does not hesitate to present dialogues that are sometimes very crude, with certain scenes which sometimes go so far as to show a little nudity, when they are not directly sexual relations. And Nintendo doesn’t like that much. Eurogamer was able to confirm with AdHoc Studio that the Switch versions of Dispatch will therefore censor scenes where nudity is present, as well as certain sounds evoking intimate relationships.
“ Each platform has its own rules regarding content, and each game submission is evaluated individually. We worked with Nintendo to ensure that the game’s content met the criteria for release on their platforms, but the story and gameplay remained identical to the original version. »
You should know that on PC and PS5, it was also possible to apply this same censorship, whether for your personal preferences or to prevent the game from being quickly targeted by the moderation of certain platforms like Twitch or YouTube. However, this option to remove censorship or not will not even be present in the Switch versions of the game, which will not give you a choice. We’re only talking about a handful of scenes here that don’t really impact the experience, but it’s still regrettable not to grant this option to Switch and Switch 2 audiences.
