Nintendo probably released these images from the movie The Legend of Zelda to regain control over communication, and thus shows us Benjamin Evan Ainsworth and Bo Bragason in Link and Zelda outfitson the lands of Hyrule (well, New Zealand). We see that in this film, Link will don his iconic green outfit, while Zelda will be entitled to a costume closer to the one we saw in Breath of the Wild.
We will also notice that the princess is here armed with a bow, implying that she will not be left aside and will also go on an adventure, being able to defend herself. At first glance, the look seems successful, even if we can’t help but see a little fan-film aspect at the moment, but this certainly comes from the fact that it is still difficult to imagine that a live-action Zelda film is actually being produced. It’s far too early to judge the film in such a way anyway.
Filming has just started, and there is still a lot of work left for Nintendo and Sony Pictures to perfect this film, expected in May 2027.
