February is off to a strong start for Pokémon fans. Nintendo has just deployed a series of free gifts for players on Nintendo Switch And Switch2accessible now via the Nintendo Switch Online service. This new wave, centered on Pokémon Legends: ZAallows you to recover exclusive icons and customizable wallpapersbut for a limited time.
For players who like to collect or personalize their profile, this content is not to be missed. All it takes is a little play time and a few platinum points to get them. And as is often the case with Nintendo, these rewards may never come back.

This is the account NSO Icon Alerts who revealed the information about X (formerly Twitter). “Examples include a range of game-inspired icons and backgrounds.” In all, 11 Pokémon icons And 4 funds are offered to subscribers of Nintendo’s online service.
To recover them, the process is simple:
- Turn on your console and open the app Nintendo Switch Online from the home screen.
- Go to the tab “Missions and Rewards”.
- Choose your icons, to exchange for platinum points.
Each element costs a few dozen points, and the full pack requires around 130 points. These are obtained by completing simple missions on the Switch.
Once the icons are obtained, they can be instantly applied to your online profile. And some fans don’t waste a second. “If anyone needs me, I’ll change my icon to Mega Lucario Z,” laughs one user. But not everyone is so relaxed: “God, I hate this FOMO (fear of missing out) of icons. I hope they come back one day.”
