The Legend of Zelda series has spanned the decades without losing its influence in the world of video games. For almost forty years, the Nintendo franchise has continued to mark players with its adventures and iconic characters.

In this context, Nintendo recently unveiled a new product aimed at collectors and fans: a LEGO set inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This model pays homage to one of the most famous episodes of the saga.

A LEGO set inspired by the final battle of Ocarina of Time

Released in 1998 on Nintendo 64, Ocarina of Time is often considered one of the best games in history. The new LEGO set is directly inspired by the final fight against Ganon, a defining moment of the adventure. The set includes 1,003 pieces to build the final battle arena. Three minifigures are included in the box. Priced at around $130, this set is clearly aimed at collectors and fans of the Zelda saga.

Majora’s Mask, an obvious candidate for a future LEGO set

For many fans, the next choice seems obvious: The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. Released two years after Ocarina of Time, this game is a direct sequel set in the world of Termina. Majora’s Mask has a much darker atmosphere than the other episodes of the series. Its post-apocalyptic universe, marked by the presence of the threatening moon, had a profound impact on players.

Ideas for sets inspired by Majora’s Mask

Several iconic elements from the game could inspire future LEGO constructions.

  • Majora’s Mask displayed on a pedestal
  • Termina clock tower
  • The gigantic moon with its disturbing face

Another concept could represent the final fight against Majora with a Link minifigure in Fierce Deity form.

Zelda remains one of Nintendo’s major franchises

The constant popularity of The Legend of Zelda explains why Nintendo continues to develop new derivative products around the series. Since its creation in the 1980s, the franchise has established itself as one of the most important in video game history. With new products related to Zelda’s 40th anniversary arriving, fans can expect more announcements in the coming months.
