New trailer for the second “Freeze” season + ending


A new trailer for the second season was released today on the official X account of the anime adaptation of »Freeze: Beyond Journey’s End«. You can watch the video further down in this article.

Starting in January 2026

The second “Freezing” season is being created under the direction of director Tomoya Kitagawa (chief episode director of the first season) in the MADHOUSE studio. Tomohiro Suzuki (“Negative Positive Angler”) is writing the script, while Akiko Takase (“Dead Ma’am’s Chest”) and Keisuke Kojima are contributing character design.

The ending song entitled “The Story of Us”, which can be heard in the trailer, comes from the Japanese singer milet (opening of “Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc”). Crunchyroll will show the sequel in simulcast from January 16, 2026.

The 28-episode first season, which ran on Japanese television from September 2023 to April 2024, is already available on demand. The publisher also recently released this in a Collector’s Edition on DVD and Blu-ray.
