A new trailer for the second season was released today on the official X account of the anime adaptation of “The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten” (Japanese: “Otonari no Tenshi-sama”). You can find the video below.
Starting in April 2026
The second season of the romance series is directed by Chihiro Kumano (“Unnamed Memory”) at Studio Project No.9. Keiichirou Oochi is writing the script, while Takayuki Noguchi is creating the character design.
The opening song entitled “Kimi wa Koibito”, which can be heard in the trailer, is contributed by Masayoshi Ooishi (ending song of “Solo Camping for Two”). The sequel will premiere on Japanese television on April 3, 2026.
The twelve-part first season of the RomCom series ran in simulcast on Crunchyroll from January to March 2023. It is not yet known whether the streaming provider will also publish the new episodes.
