New trailer for the fantasy anime “Tomb Raider King” + opening


A new trailer for the series was released today on the official X account of the anime adaptation of “Tomb Raider King” (Japanese: “Toukutsuou”). You can find the video further down in this article.

Starting in July 2026

“Tomb Raider King” is being created at the South Korean studio EEK under the direction of U Seung-Uk (episode director for “Hunter x Hunter”), who is also writing the script. Lee Hyeon-Jeong (“The Gene of AI”) creates the character design.

The opening song entitled “Show Down” comes from the idol group QWER, who also contribute the ending song “To Be Continued”. The streaming service Crunchyroll will show the series in simulcast from July 8, 2026.

Yoonz’s webtoon template, based on the original webnovel by Sanjijiksong, was published from June 2019 to March 2023 in 411 chapters with illustrations by 3B2S in South Korea. The work is available in German through Altraverse.
