New teaser for the second “My Rebirth as a Slime” film


Another teaser for the second screen adaptation was published today on the X account of the anime adaptation of “My Rebirth as a Slime in Another World” (Japanese: “Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken”). You can find the video below.

Cinema release in April 2026

The new film, entitled “My Rebirth as a Slime in Another World: Tears of the Azure Sea,” has been showing in Japan’s cinemas since February 27, 2026. Crunchyroll will be bringing this to cinemas in this country from April 28, 2026 with German and Japanese language output.

The studio 8-Bit was once again responsible for the production of the approximately 104-minute film, with Yasuhito Kikuchi (“Comet Lucifer”) directing and writing the script together with Toshizou Nemoto.

The insert song titled “Soukoku” that can be heard in the trailer comes from voice actress Saori Oonishi, who voices the character Yura.

The associated series currently consists of three seasons, which are available on demand on Crunchyroll and are also already available on DVD and Blu-ray. The fourth season, which will be broadcast over a total of five courses (three months each), starts on April 3, 2026 in simulcast.
