In the May 2026 falters Netflix is reviving its anime program with some new series. You can find out what you can look forward to in this article.
New anime in May 2026
The first is one of the highlights »Shangri-La Frontier«-Season, which is on May 1, 2026 appears. On May 12, 2026 follows the second season of »Devil May Cry«before from May 15, 2026 the RomCom series “Horimiya” and from then on May 17, 2026 the first two episodes of »Akane banashi« be included in the catalog.
In addition, there are still new episodes of weekly “Dorohedoro” (Wednesday), »The Ramparts of Ice« (Thursday), “Kill Blue” (Saturday) and »One Piece: Elbaph Arc« (Saturday) can be seen in the simulcast.

New arrivals in May 2026:
May 1st: “Beyblade X” – Season 2
The second season of »Beyblade X« will be on May 1, 2026 the catalog from Netflix added. The first season is removed on the same day.

May 1st: “Shangri-La Frontier” – Season 1
The first season of »Shangri-La Frontier« can from then on May 1, 2026 on Netflix be streamed.
Action:
In the near future, screen games will be considered retro, and anything without the latest VR technology will be considered “junk games.” Rakuro Hizutome is a legendary junk game hunter – but this time he’s taking on Shangri-La Frontier, an acclaimed VR masterpiece with 30 million players. May 12: “Devil May Cry” – Season 2
The second season of »Devil May Cry« will be on May 12, 2026 including a German language version Netflix published.
Action:
Two thousand years after Sparda’s victory, demon lord Mundus returns. From the underworld he prepares the attack on earth.
But Dante, the son of Sparda, resolutely opposes the demonic invasion and takes up the fight against Mundus and his hordes.
May 15: “Horimiya”
“Horimiya” expands the program of Netflix from that May 15, 2026.
Action:
Hori is considered popular, attractive and successful at school, but at home she looks after the household and her little brother, dressed casually.

Action:

Action:
With Lilith, Kuma, Bonney and the giant pirates, the Straw Hats reach Elbaph. Robin sees Saul again, and Luffy meets the captured Prince Loki.
Flashbacks highlight Harald, Rocks and God Valley. As Vegapunk’s message shakes the world, One Piece becomes the focus of rival powers – and the Knights of God threaten Elbaph.
