The popular anime franchise “My Dress-Up Darling” has entered into an exciting collaboration in the motorsport sector – of course with series protagonist Marin Kitagawa in the lead role. We summarize below.
Racing car in anime design
A few days ago, Marin Kitagawa was officially appointed as a temporary ambassador for the TK Racing Initiative (TKRI) motorsport team, which was founded in 2020 by racing driver Tatsuya Kataoka and has been fighting for the championship in the Super Taikyu ST-X class since 2022.
Marin made her first appearance on April 18, 2026 at the Suzuka 5-hour race, where a TKRI vehicle in the “My Dress-Up Darling” design was presented for the first time.
The car is strikingly designed in the style of the series and shows Marin in her official “Race Queen version”, which has already been published as an anime figure, on the hood and doors of the racing car. You can watch a video, an illustration and the design as usual below these lines.
In addition to the vehicle itself, TKRI is also planning a series of collaboration merchandise items to further accompany the event and campaign. However, further announcements in this regard are currently pending.
