LEGO The Lord of the Rings, the Minas Tirith set leaked before its official announcement

The White City of Middle-earth has just escaped from the vaults of LEGO. High-resolution images, instructions cover and even assembly video of the set LEGO Icons 11377 Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith are already circulating online, while the Danish group has not yet made anything official.

At the center of these leaks, a figure that provokes reactions: 8,278 pieces, the largest set LEGO Lord of the Rings never seen before, in front Rivendell 10316 (6,167 pieces) and Barad‑dûr 10333 (5,471). With a release targeted for June 1, 2026 and a price that would flirt with €600, the question is simple: what exactly do these leaks reveal and should we start saving?

LEGO Minas Tirith: what do the massive leaks really reveal?

The first rumors around Minas Tirith date back to 2025 via the leaker Brick Tap. But the turning point came when fans got their hands on the instruction manual hosted on LEGO servers, before a video from a member of the LEGO Ambassador Network showed the assembled model. The images also correspond to a visual briefly published and then deleted by LEGO on Instagram, which strongly reinforces the credibility of the whole.

On the design side, leaks confirm an enormous micro-scale diorama of the city: ramparts of the Ramas Echorsuccessive doors, rock wall and White Citadel are compressed to approximately 72 cm wide and nearly 37 cm deep. The rear offers a large cutaway with several rooms at minifig scale, including the throne room and Denethor’s table, allowing you to replay the cult tomato scene from The Return of the King.

the history of leaks based on instructions shows that this is generally the final model. If you are aiming for the White City on D-day, between budget and space to clear, it is undoubtedly time to prepare the ground.
