Lego Pokémon 2026: date, price, treasure hunt and bonuses not to be missed

The wait is coming to an end. Starting February 27, 2026, Lego and The Pokémon Company will officially launch their first joint collection of Lego Pokémon sets, featuring five iconic monsters: Pikachu, Eevee, Charizard, Tortank and Florizar. Something to delight collectors and builders, young and old.

Already available for pre-order, these impressively sized sets are also accompanied by a global online event, a digital treasure hunt called Scavenger Hunt, with Pokémon XP prizes and even trips to be won for the 2026 Pokémon World Championship.

Three sets, five Pokémon and thousands of pieces

The first set features Pikachu leaping out of his Poké Ball, a tribute to the dynamism of electric Pokémon number 25 in the Pokédex. This box contains 2,050 pieces and a black lightning rod-style base on which the number 25 appears. It allows Pikachu to be displayed in different postures, Poké Ball open or closed.

The second set, much more massive, brings together Charizard, Florizarre and Tortank in a set of 6,838 pieces. Each can be built separately, or displayed on a thematic base representing the Pokémon biomes. The set also promises some surprises integrated into the decor, to be discovered throughout the construction.

Finally, the Eevee set, more modest with 587 pieces, offers an articulated version of many players’ favorite Pokémon. Its expressive face, limbs, tail and head can be rotated to bring multiple poses to life.

A strategic release date and bonuses for the fastest

The release is scheduled for February 27, 2026, Pokémon Day, the symbolic date of the very first Pokémon game launched in Japan in 1996. Pre-orders have already started on LEGO.com, Pokémon Center and in LEGO Stores, with an exclusive gift: the Kanto badge collection, offered for any pre-order of the set of three Kanto Pokémon.

The prices are as follows:

  • Pikachu: €199.99
  • Eevee: €59.99
  • Florizarre, Charizard and Tortank: €649.99

Each set is sold separately. Some models risk quickly being sold out, notably that of the three Kanto starters, very popular with collectors.

A parallel digital treasure hunt

From January 12 to February 27, 2026, fans will be able to participate in a Scavenger Hunt organized online, via the Lego and Pokémon sites and social networks, as well as in Pokémon GO and on YouTube. The goal: find up to 30 hidden codes to enter on the LEGO Insiders platform to obtain digital rewards, or even win complete sets or a trip to San Francisco to attend the 2026 Pokémon World Championship.

The big winner will win:

  • A complete pack of three sets
  • A stay for 5 people in San Francisco with access to the Chase Center
  • All expenses paid (flights, hotel, transfers), value estimated at more than €7,600

Up to 10 winners will be drawn at random from participants in eligible markets, with multiple prize tiers depending on the number of codes found.

A historic collaboration between two toy giants

This partnership marks a major turning point in the world of Pokémon derivative products. After Mario Kart, Animal Crossing or even Horizon at Lego, the Pokémon license offers a grand entry into the world of bricks.

Brought together for the first time, LEGO and Pokémon promise a lasting collaboration that could expand to other generations of Pokémon or iconic scenes from the anime. In the meantime, these first models are already shaping up to be the most coveted pieces of 2026.
