The Call of Duty made in Konami
Like every year, the big names in the Japanese industry share their end-of-year wishes with 4Gamer.net magazine, which are then compiled by Gematsu. This is often the place where you can find a lot of clues about the future projects of small and large Japanese publishers, like Konami via a message from Motoi Okamotofamous producer of the saga silent Hill.
In his end-of-year wishes, the person said that the recent episodes of the series have borne fruit, and it is now important not to reduce the pace. He therefore wants to release at least one game silent Hill per year :
“ Following the release of Silent Hill 2 in October 2024, we were able to release Silent Hill f in September 2025, and the Silent Hill series is returning to cruising speed. Including announced and unannounced titles, we are aiming for a release rate of approximately one game per year. I don’t know if we can achieve this goal, but I will continue to do my best as producer of the Silent Hill series. Ideally, we would like to maintain the excitement around the Silent Hill series at all times. We’re working hard to share new information, so I would appreciate your patience. »
As for the projects already known, we know that a certain Silent Hill Townfall is in preparation in collaboration with Annapurna Interactive, but also a remake of the first silent Hill at Bloober Team. The latter will probably not be ready for 2026, so we are instead banking on an exit from Townfall next year, or a mystery episode.
