Kingdom Come: Deliverance gets a rebirth on PS5 with 4K graphics and boosted performance

The cult medieval RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance is preparing to live a second youth on PlayStation 5. If Warhorse Studios has not yet made the port official, the Italian PlayStation Store has spilled the beans with a product sheet revealing the main technical improvements of this PS5 version. An unexpected, but particularly welcome, return for this realistic and ambitious adventure game, initially released in 2018.

Developed by Warhorse Studios, Kingdom Come: Deliverance immersed players in the Bohemian Warin 1403, during the reign of Wenceslas IV. Both demanding, immersive and historically faithful, the game had attracted more than 6 million players worldwide on February 13, 2024. And it seems determined to conquer the PS5 with an enriched formula.

4K resolution, improved textures: the technical facelift is becoming clearer

According to the information displayed on the Italian PlayStation Storethis PS5 version will integrate a 4K resolutiona optimized frame rateof the high definition textures and various visual refinements. No details have filtered out on possible support for ray tracing or gameplay tweaks, but these first elements are enough to rekindle fans’ curiosity.

This technical upgrade should restore all its splendor to the Medieval Bohemia meticulously reproduced in the game. Enough to discover or rediscover this open world to a whole new generation of players, with significantly greater gaming comfort than that offered on PS4.

A confirmation that remains unofficial… for now

Warhorse Studios is still silent on this PS5 port. However, this is not the first time that the project has leaked. Already in July 2025, the PlayStation Game Size account had spotted similar clues on Xbox. From now on, the presence of this detailed sheet on Sony’s Italian store leaves little doubt about the imminent arrival of this native version.

Although the page was quietly removed, its content was archived and massively relayed on Reddit, making it difficult for the publisher to deny the existence of the project. Formalization would therefore only be a matter of time.

A strong comeback before a new chapter

This timely return to PS5 comes in a favorable context for the series. Indeed, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II was released last year on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. This new opus extends the experience by strengthening the customization system, non-linear narration and immersion mechanics.

Relaunching the first episode in a visually revisited version would not only attract new players, but also consolidate the identity of the franchise on current consoles.
