Not the most muscular, but the best armed
Cecil comes to prove us wrong in this new Invincible VS gameplay video, in which he can fight on equal terms with the other characters thanks to a very well-stocked arsenal as well as Reanimen who will give him a little support. An astonishing, but rather original, choice of characters, who will not rely on brute force but who will mainly fight at a distance while taking advantage of his teleportation (and his big space laser).
The studio presented this new video at New York Comic-Con, which is taking place right now. He also took the opportunity to talk about the game’s Story mode, which will contain at least 25 minutes of cutscenes. The studio wants to make this new storyline feel like a real episode of the anime, and there will be quite a bit to discover here. Like a completely new character in this license, but there is no question of revealing too much at the moment.
We also learn that a closed alpha will take place before the end of the year. You can register on the official website for a chance to participate. Invicible VS is planned for sometime in 2026 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
