GTA 6: a leak suggests a map filled with activities and interactive places, Rockstar would prepare massive content

Grand Theft Auto VI is already shaping up to be one of the most ambitious projects in video game history. With a budget estimated at over a billion dollars according to some rumors, Rockstar Games seems to want to deliver a massive experience, well beyond the simple main campaign.

If fans are obviously expecting an explosive story and an essential multiplayer mode, it is especially the additional activities that could make the difference in the long term. A recent leak relayed on Reddit indeed draws up an impressive list of secondary content present in the full version of the game.

A living map filled with varied activities

According to the information shared, GTA 6 will offer a multitude of activities to keep players busy between two story missions. Fishing in particular would be one of the big new features, perfectly suited to the Florida-inspired setting and coastal areas of the Leonida Keys.

To this would be added more classic activities such as shopping, golf, scuba diving or even dice games. Robberies would obviously make a comeback, accompanied by delivery missions and transport of goods by van.

The inclusion of a harpoon gun among the available weapons also suggests that certain maritime activities will be much more developed than in the past.

Buildings finally truly interactive?

Another particularly interesting element: the presence of numerous interactive buildings. The leak mentions accessible supermarkets, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and even laundromats.

Several of these locations were already visible in the first official trailer, but their true degree of interactivity remained unclear. If Rockstar pushes realism even further than in GTA 5, the city could become one of the most vivid environments ever created. This approach would enhance immersion and significantly extend the lifespan of the single-player mode.

A game potentially as dense as Red Dead Redemption 2

Players who have attempted to complete Red Dead Redemption 2 100% know how time-consuming the exercise is. Between the objects to collect, the challenges to overcome and the secrets to discover, several hundred hours are necessary.

If GTA 6 follows this same philosophy, it could be even more demanding. The variety of side activities, combined with a huge map and dynamic systems, suggests that the game will be designed to last for years. This would meet expectations linked to its high price and colossal development.

Rockstar plays big with GTA 6

Expectations around GTA 6 are immense. After more than a decade of waiting since GTA 5, players are hoping for a generational leap at all levels: technical, narrative and systemic.

If these leaks are confirmed, Rockstar seems to be banking on exceptional content density to guarantee excellent value for money. It remains to be seen how many of these activities will survive until the final version. One thing seems certain: completing GTA 6 at 100% will not be an easy task.
