What retro PC games is GOG offering for free right now?
Electro Man (1992) is an MS-DOS platformer-shooter by X LanD Computer Games. You play Jacek, a human who becomes a cyborg after an alien attack, who travels through a trapped space station. Often cited as one of the first Polish professional PC games, it remains demanding but readable.
Heartlight is a 2D puzzle game where the elf Percival must collect hearts without being crushed by rocks or exploding bombs. Inspired by Boulder Dash And Supaplexit connects fixed screens with progressive difficulty, ideal for short but intense sessions.
The Adventures of Robbo takes up the principle of Robbo from 1989: a small robot collects bolts in more than 60 maze levels. Each “planet” is a puzzle based on keys, teleporters and enemies, for a cult action puzzle in Poland. These three titles were then brought together in theEpic Puzzle Pack edited by Epic MegaGames in the mid-90s.
