Microsoft identified the fault
The Azure service outage was confirmed by Microsoft following several reports of connection issues, particularly on Xbox services where online gaming is greatly impactedwhether on titles like Sea of Thieves or even Minecraft. Microsoft says it is investigating the issue and says it was caused by a configuration change with unintended consequences.
