Fourth “TenSura” season is taking a short break

The official X account of the anime adaptation of “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” recently announced that the fourth season will be taking a break in a few weeks. We summarize.

Break in May 2026

The fifth episode of the fourth season (episode 77 in the overall count) will not air on May 1, 2026 as previously planned, but only on May 8, 2026 on Japanese television. This also affects the international simulcast on Crunchyroll. A reason for the program change was not given.

The studio 8-Bit is once again responsible for production of the sequel, which started on April 3, 2026 and will consist of a total of five courses. Naokatsu Tsuda (“Good Bye, Dragon Life”) is once again directing, while Kenji Yasuda (“Somali and the Forest Spirit”) is involved as assistant director.

Crunchyroll has all previous episodes of the Isekai series as well as the first movie in its program. A second screen spin-off will start on April 28, 2026 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with German and Japanese language output.
