Fortnite: The Visitor is back in Battle Royale update 39.50

This update was deployed this February 19 in the morning, with several highly anticipated new features, particularly in relation to this season’s Story. The month of Love & Legends continues (with 10 new level ups possible if you log in every day, within 14 days), the Lantern Festival is in full swing, The Visitor is back and new quests are available. We summarize everything you need to remember from this v39.50 update.

The Visitor is back!

His arrival will have caused a stir. While a red rift had been present in the game for a few days, at midnight on the night of Thursday February 19 to Friday February 20 (and this without prior announcement from the official accounts), The Visitor made his grand return to the Battle Royale map via his rocket. After several entries into rifts, the 2-minute mini-event (which you can find below thanks to @FN_Assist) concluded with a landing on the Landing location prepared for Canyon Confidential these last few days. You can already find Le Visiteur and his paraphernalia on site.

A returning character with a new performer in the person of Ben Starrwell known for his portrayals of Clive in Final Fantasy XVI or from Verso in Chiaroscuro: Expedition 33. The actor made the announcement on his social networks, not full of excitement.

The Visitor is an integral part of the History of Fortnite for many years and should strongly relaunch the new additions to the Battle Royale lore in the coming weeks. Quests concerning the Seven are also available to advance the Story. Rift portals could reappear soon while the fragments of Point Zero are unstable. We remind you that an event concerning The Seven will take place on February 23 if we are to believe the progress of the month proposed during the last update.

The Lantern Festival on Recharge

To celebrate communities across the Middle East and North Africa, Fortnite has deployed since February 18 the Lantern Festival 2026 in Cooldown mode. On the same maps as usual, you can now play in a team of 8 playersand this until February 25 at 3 p.m..

Quests are dedicated to this event to leave with several rewards, the Bring it! aerosol. from three quests and the Love of the Game emoticon for eight quests completed. To participate, start a matchmaking with up to 3 other players and you will be placed in a team of 8 players. Themed items are also available in store.

Strong hours to come

New muscular hours are planned this weekend, so that everyone can enjoy them. Players will start their games in possession of a self-resuscitation device and a legendary electric arc. The storm will also take the shape of a large rectangle imitating a scan of the island by Le Visiteur. In addition, in all games, two locations will have legendary loot, represented by a name in blue and a chest next to it on the mini-map. Here’s when to find these muscular hours on the Battle Royale:

  • Saturday February 21 from 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (French time)
  • Sunday February 22 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (French time)
