Starting in January 2027
»The Eternal Fool’s Words of Wisdom« is directed by Keisuke Oonishi (“The Healer Who Was Banished”) at Studio elle. Kurasumi Sunayama (“Dr. STONE”) is writing the script, while Yumiko Mizuno is contributing character design.
The main roles of the Japanese voice cast include Toshiyuki Toyonaga (Xiaoshi Cheng in “Link Click”) as Asley and Youko Hikasa (Mina Kouchi in “Dead Account”) as Pochi. Crunchyroll will show the fantasy series in simulcast from January 2027.
The original light novel series of the same name comes from Hifumi and was published in Japan between October 2015 and December 2019 with illustrations by Kurihito Mutou in a total of 14 volumes. The manga adaptation written by Fuu Araki has been published in the “Comic Earth Star Online” magazine since April 2017.
