Fantasy novel “The Reincarnated Elf” gets an anime adaptation


Japanese publisher Starts Publishing announced today that the fantasy novel “The Reincarnated Elf Left on a Journey to Master His Magic and With His Extra Lifespan Became a Living Legend” is getting an anime adaptation.

The anime adaptation is a TV series that will start on Japanese television at an as yet undisclosed date. Further details, such as who will be involved in the production, are currently pending.

The work by Monsho Sakakibara, which originally bears the title “Majutsu wo Kiwamete Tabi ni Deta Tensei Elf, Moteamashita Jumyou de Ikeru Densetsu to Naru”, has been published in Japanese stores since 2022 with illustrations by Hatori Kyoka.

A manga adaptation by kanco debuted in “Comic Grast” magazine in May 2023. The work is currently neither available in German nor in English.
