Like every week, the Epic Games Store offers free games to its users. But this time, for Halloween, the platform is doing things in a big way with a selection of two horror titles acclaimed by fans. From October 30 to November 7, players can download without spending a cent Bendy and the Ink Machine And Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit.
Two atmospheres, two nightmares, and only one constant: the promise of guaranteed sleepless nights.
Two free games for Halloween: ink, screams and mystery
First game proposed: Bendy and the Ink Machine. This indie title is a first-person horror adventure game. You play Henry, a former animator who returns to the old premises of the Joey Drew studios, now abandoned. What should have been a simple visit becomes a descent into hell in a setting where everything is drawn by hand. Inky creatures are everywhere, the walls seem to breathe, and madness spreads through every corridor.
Retro graphics, sultry atmosphere, puzzles and exploration combine for a unique experience, which has made Bendy one of the most surprising games in its category.
Second gift from Epic Games: Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pita terrifying new chapter in the FNAF universe. We play Oswald, a young boy who discovers a mysterious ball pit in an abandoned pizzeria. This place projects him into the past, where he discovers the dark secrets of his city, while trying to survive five nights of horror. Time travel, psychological anguish and survival are at the heart of this spin-off which is part of the nightmarish tradition of the saga FNAF.
A limited time gift… and perfect for seasonal thrills
Epic Games did not choose these two titles by chance. The goal is clear: to perfectly capture the spirit of Halloween with two consecutive horror experiences. Whether you are nostalgic for disturbing cartoons or a fan of precise jumpscares, this free selection has something to appeal.
But be careful, as always, the offer is temporary. You have until November 7, 2025 at 5 p.m. to add both games to your library. After this period, you will have to purchase them to benefit from them.
In the meantime, it’s the perfect time to turn off the lights, put on some headphones and face the monsters lurking in the shadows… from the comfort of your living room.
