In the absence of a sixth episode…
After all, Capcom would be wrong to deprive itself. Devil May Cry 5 is experiencing a resurgence in popularity at the moment thanks to the broadcast of the Netflix series (whatever one thinks of the quality of the latter), and the arrival of the Switch 2 makes it very easy to imagine the release of a port.
If nothing is yet confirmed at this stage, a Switch 2 version of the game did appear in a listing of the Taiwanese classification body (spotted by Nintendo Everything), and this under the name of Devil May Cry 5 Devil Hunter Edition. We would therefore be on a different edition of the PS5 and Xbox Series port, which bore the name of Special Edition. This could mean that new things could come into play (probably more small additional items rather than real content).
We imagine that we will have to wait for a Nintendo Direct issue to find out a little more, unless Capcom takes advantage of the launch of season 2 of the Netflix series (May 12) to tell us more.
