In a few weeks, peppermint anime will release the film “Demon Slayer: Mugen Train” in the 4K Ultra HD version. In keeping with this, the design of the limited Steelbook edition has now been revealed. We summarize.
Release in April 2026
“Demon Slayer: Mugen Train” is expected to go on sale on April 17, 2026 as a limited steelbook with a 4K Blu-ray that includes the film with German and Japanese voice acting. A regular Blu-ray is not included.
The studio ufotable was responsible for the production of the almost two-hour evening filler, which celebrated its Japanese cinema premiere on October 16, 2020, with Haruo Sotozaki (“Tales of Zestiria”) taking over the position of director.
The first season of “Demon Slayer” will also receive a steelbook edition, which is expected to be published on August 31, 2026.
