The Cyberpunk 2077 universe continues to expand far beyond the video game. On the occasion of Record Store Day, a new project was made official: Cyberpunk 2077: Ronin, a collector’s vinyl expected for April 18, 2026. This physical object is part of a strong trend, that of the return of vinyl and limited editions sought by enthusiasts. It will be available in several hundred participating stores, including in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
A musical project by Angel of Man inspired by Night City
Behind this project, we find Angel of Man, who here offers a creation described as a “love letter to the world of Cyberpunk 2077”. The album is directly inspired by the atmosphere of Night City, mixing industrial sounds, electronic experiments and cinematographic atmosphere. “From high-energy anthems like Extraction Action and The Heist to introspective vibes like Outsider No More and Rite of Passage, RONIN: CYBERPUNK 2077 embodies the chaos, rebellion and neon beauty of Night City.”
A limited vinyl with new content for fans
Cyberpunk 2077: Ronin is more than just a soundtrack. The edition will include 12 tracks, including a previously unreleased track. The vinyl will be pressed in a limited edition on a 180g disc, with a Katana CyberRed design and a cover illustrated especially for the occasion. This type of object is clearly aimed at collectors and the most committed fans of the universe. The experience therefore goes beyond listening to music. It is part of a desire to extend the immersion outside of the game.
A release that accompanies the wait for the Cyberpunk sequel
This project comes at a special time for CD Projekt Red fans. The sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 is still awaited and should not see the light of day for several years. In this context, Cyberpunk 2077: Ronin allows us to maintain the link with this universe while waiting for the next announcements. Music then becomes another way to explore Night City, without a controller in hand.
