The streaming service Crunchyroll recently announced that it had secured the license for two reboots from the spring 2026 season. We summarize.
Two new simulcasts
The series that will soon be shown in simulcast on Crunchyroll include the anime adaptation of »Liar Game«which will start in April 2026 in the original Japanese language with German subtitles.
In addition, the second season of the action series will be released “Dorohedoro” from April 1, 2026 weekly in Japanese with German subtitles. The first season was added to the Crunchyroll program just a few days ago.

“Dorohedoro” – Season 2
The second season of “Dorohedoro” is from April 1, 2026 in the original Japanese language with subtitles Crunchyroll seen in simulcast. At the same time, the new episodes will also be released on ADN and Netflix.

In the dark city of “Loch”, the residents fear unscrupulous magicians who carry out cruel experiments on people. The mysterious Caiman with a reptilian head hunts one of them: the magician who once cursed him and turned him into a monster. At his side is Nikaido, the owner of a bar.

Action:
The gullible Nao suddenly finds herself caught up in the merciless “Liar Game”. She receives 100 million yen and competes against an opponent for 30 days.
If she keeps the money, it’s all over. If she loses it, she will remain heavily in debt. Only if she outsmarts her opponent can she keep the winnings. A seemingly simple game – but it is extremely brutal.
