A great success in sight
We know shareholders who must already be biting their fingers. Despite more mixed tests than those expected, which still remain good (but you understand, it’s 10/10 or nothing), Crimson Desert already brings together a lot of people on Steam. At the time of writing, in just one hour, the game has already peaked at almost 240,000 simultaneous connections on the Valve platform, which is excellent for a game sold at full price.
Meanwhile, Pearl Abyss intends to correct certain problems highlighted in the tests. The day one patch is finally here, at least on Steam and PS5 (Xbox, Epic Games Store and Macs will still wait)and after testing it on our side, we can already confirm that it resolves some practical ergonomic issues, making the experience a little more pleasant. It also tackles the balancing of certain bosses, but we will have to look at this more carefully to know if these fights become more interesting or not.
