Crimson Desert is already a hit
Despite a drop in confidence on the part of shareholders following the tests published by the press, it was almost certain that commercial success would be achieved. This was not lacking, since Pearl Abyss proudly announces that it has already sold 2 million copies of Crimson Desert, just one day after its release. This figure confirms that the anticipation surrounding the game was particularly strong, with hype which suffered no decline despite the mixed opinions published when the embargo was lifted.
We are incredibly humbled to share that #CrimsonDesert has sold through 2 million copies worldwide. Thank you so much to our fans, community, and everyone who has joined us in Pywel. We will listen closely to the wide range of feedback shared by the community and work to make… pic.twitter.com/AivMESKWpu

The figures available via Steam already gave a good indication of the commercial success of the launch. Pearl Abyss wanted to thank the players for this welcome:
We are incredibly grateful to share that Crimson Desert has sold two million copies worldwide. We would like to thank our fans, our community and everyone who joined the adventure on Pywel.
The Korean studio is nevertheless aware that the launch also attracts a lot of criticism. We are thinking in particular of PC players equipped with an Intel graphics card, unable to launch the game due to a lack of support (and which is also not planned for the future).
Apart from that, Pearl Abyss already ensures that it listens to the community. The studio promises to take player feedback into account in order to improve the experience in the coming weeks.
The game is available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. Do not hesitate to consult our complete guide to Crimson Desert to find out more.
