We learn first the code name of this new Wolfensteinwhich is internally baptized “ Valkyrie ». In one of the announcements regarding the game’s casting, the MP1ST site found the mention of a character named Sofiya (which may also be a nod to William Blazkowicz’s mother, Zofia), which would be new in the license and which would present herself as a young Ukrainian child between 8 and 11 years old.
She would be accompanied by her dog Ralph and is described as a real survivor traumatized by the war, until coming across William who will protect her, thus marking the return of the protagonist of the license. Yes, the all-too-used stereotype of the gruff man who takes a child under his wing still has a bright future ahead of him.
All of this can obviously still change by the time things fall into place on the production side, although the first performance captures should start this April, with reshoots planned until 2027. In other words, you won’t see this Wolfenstein in action for a while.
