Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 rolls out major update, many bugs fixed



Launched on November 14, 2025, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is wasting no time in fixing the bugs most reported by players. Treyarch Studios has deployed a corrective update on November 18aimed at stabilizing the three main modes of the game: Cooperative Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies. While this update doesn’t yet contain new content, it paves the way for a more anticipated update: the return of Nuketown 2025scheduled for November 20.

While waiting for the start of Season 1, this series of technical fixes marks a first step towards a smoother experience. Players who experienced crashes, stuck challenges, or gameplay bugs should see a noticeable improvement.

Zombies, Multiplayer, Campaign: all bugs fixed

On the mode Zombiesseveral problems were targeted:

  • A bug allowed health to be increased beyond the intended limits.
  • The Perk Quick Revive prevented the proper functioning of the augmentation Equivalent Exchange.
  • The aptitude Aether Shroud sometimes left a post-image too long.
  • Players were stuck loading games.
  • General fixes have been applied to improve stability.

Side Multiplayerthe patch fixes a problem with the challenge Trip Cap of the category Dark Opswhich could be unlocked prematurely. Stability adjustments have also been added to limit crashes.

Finally, in the mode Cooperative campaigna bug blocked the progress of certain missions if the player left the activity zone. Another caused a persistent black screen when loading the mission Endgame. These issues have been resolved, in addition to various general performance fixes.

Nuketown 2025 arrives November 20 with more maps in sight

Good news for nostalgics: Nuketown 2025the famous map introduced in Black Ops 2, will return this November 20 in a remastered version. She will join the cards Raid, Hijacked And Expressalready present in Black Ops 7.

This is just a taste of what awaits players for the Season 1which will also introduce the cult cards Standoff And Meltdownalso from Black Ops 2. At the same time, four new, never-before-seen multiplayer maps will be integrated, which will considerably diversify the online experience.

Treyarch has not yet confirmed the exact launch date of this first season, but these additions show that the content is accelerating, despite an average score of 71/100 on OpenCritic. The promise is clear: refine what already exists while reactivating the nostalgic fiber of fans. It remains to be seen if this will be enough to get this new opus off the ground once and for all.
