Borderlands 4: This SHIFT code offered allows you to unlock an exclusive Skin of Amon

It was enough for 300,000 victims. Borderlands 4 players inflicted more than 800,000 on the formidable vault bosses to take up the last community challenge launched by Gearbox Software. As a reward, an unprecedented skin for the character of Amon, inspired by his original short film “Demons”, is now accessible to everyone thanks to a free shift code.

Available since September 12, 2025, Borderlands 4 was quick to relaunch the dynamics of participation around Shift codes, already emblematic in the world of franchise. Like its predecessors, the game regularly offers golden keys and cosmetic objects via these codes, to activate on the official Gearbox website before recovering the rewards in the golden skulls located in The Launchpad, Belton’s Bore, Carcadia or The Lockaway.

The Shift of Amon code offered to everyone after a community feat

As announced before the weekend, Gearbox had set a simple objective: “Gearbox wanted the players collectively 300,000 vault bosses in Borderlands 4, which would unlock a special shift code for the Forgeknight named Amon.” The community sprayed the counter with 839,225 eliminations, unlocking a unique cosmetics skin from the short film “Demons”.

This operation is part of a series of weekly awards: the previous week, the players had to accumulate 20 million “second windows” to obtain a Rafa skin. Again, the objective had been widely exceeded with 23.4 million successes. At this rate, other characters like Vex and Harlowe could soon be in the spotlight, with their own challenges and rewards to unlock.

An update that strengthens Amon and corrects the PC version

This skin is not the only gift given to the character of Amon in recent days. The first borderlands 4 balancing update has indeed made targeted improvements to several characters, but particularly to this forgeknight. His skill tree has received several adjustments to strengthen its efficiency in the field.

In the same patch, Gearbox also corrected various technical problems reported on PC: “The update has also corrected certain persistent performance problems for players on PC, with some weekly activity adjustments.”
