The new Call of Duty opus arrives with an impressive arsenal. Between revisited classic weapons, futuristic prototypes and destructive tools for Zombies, Warzone or Endgame modes, Black Ops 7 offers 30 weapons to unlock and customize according to your playing style. But not all are equal, and some already stand out in the multiplayer meta.

Assault rifles, submachine guns, snipers and even melee weapons: each category has its essentials… and its pitfalls to avoid. Here is the complete guide to help you choose the ideal equipment from your first games.

Assault rifles and SMGs: the solid foundation for any soldier

Among the assault rifles, two weapons are available from the start: the M15 Mod 0very handy but not very powerful, and the Peacekeeper MK1ideal at short range despite its recoil. As you level up, theAK-27 (level 4) stands out as a safe bet for fans of high damage, while the MXR-17 (level 16) seduces with its precision.

On the machine gun side, the Ryden 45K offers excellent balance from the start. As you progress, the Carbon 57 (level 46) becomes essential thanks to its 50 bullet magazine, while the MPC-25 (level 55) seduces with its raw power despite significant recoil.

Snipers, precision and heavy rifles: power and mastery

Remote shooting enthusiasts can count on the VS Recona devastating bolt-action rifle unlocked by default. For a faster shot, the Shadow SK (level 13) combines mobility and precision. Players seeking innovation will turn to XR-3 Ion (level 43), a burst sniper who eliminates with a single well-placed shot.

For light machine guns, the Mk.78 shines with its power and range, despite reduced mobility. As for the XM325 (level 31), it focuses on pace and maneuverability to the detriment of damage.

Pistols, launchers and melee weapons: secondary options not to be neglected

In secondary weapons, the Velox 5.7 (level 13) fires powerful bursts, and the Code 9 (level 34) features fully automatic cadence. For players who like to neutralize enemy killstreaks, the AAROW 109a multi-purpose missile launcher, proves very useful from the start.

Finally, in melee, the knife remains the most rapid and deadly, while the baton Flatline Mk.II provides slightly greater range for close quarters duels.
