It’s official: Battlefield 6 is preparing to enrich its arsenal with Eastwooda new map inspired by the glamorous and chaotic world of Los Angeles. Scheduled to arrive on Tuesday, November 18, this new game zone will offer an urban combat terrain that is both exotic and full of surprises. With this announcement, EA and DICE confirm their desire to regularly update their flagship FPS, already praised for its spectacular launch just a few weeks ago.
Since its release on October 10, 2025, Battlefield 6 has been setting records. The game quickly reached 750,000 players simultaneously, thanks to its nervous gameplay and its varied maps mixing close-quarters confrontations and combat in the wilderness. Now, it’s the atmosphere of the West Coast that joins the fray, with a decor worthy of the biggest Hollywood studios.
Eastwood: an explosive trip to the heart of California
Battlefield 6 doesn’t do things by half measures. With Eastwood, players will be immersed in a flamboyant environment: Eastwood appears to draw inspiration largely from Hollywood and Los Angeles as a whole, with player clashes on city streets, luxury villas and other sunny California settings. This unique setting promises intense duels in varied environments, between modern buildings, residential neighborhoods and green areas.
And that’s not all: The trailer even shows players traversing an entire golf course, with Eastwood also introducing a new vehicle: a golf cart in Battlefield 6. Enough to add a touch of humor – or strategy – to the most tense parts. This map is in line with previous ones, such as Manhattan Bridge or Empire State, but with a more cinematic and offbeat approach.
A content-rich update for Battlefield 6
Eastwood is just the first piece of a much larger puzzle. With his arrival, EA also launches phase 2 of season 1 of the game. Fans will be able to discover the temporary mode Sabotagenew updates for the battle royale mode RedSecas well as a burst of new features revealed by datamines. No less than nine new modes are said to be in preparation, including Convoy, Tug of War And Payload.
Since its release, Battlefield 6 has continued to surprise with the richness of its content. More than ten maps are already available, ranging from New York to Cairo, including completely fictitious areas created using the portal system. These allow players to design their own battlefields, reinforcing the replayability of the title.
With Eastwood, EA and DICE show that they intend to maintain the pace and continue to attract an ever more demanding community. See you on November 18 to discover this blockbuster-looking card.
