There Battlefield 6 season 1 should have started under the best auspices, with the arrival of the new REDSEC mode, free content to download and a battle pass extended. But just a few days after the update, the community forums are ablaze: some players who purchased Battlefield Pro never received their rewards.
This premium content, sold $24.99 / £21.99includes full access to battle passof the exclusive items, 25 level jumpsA 15% progression bonusas well asa dedicated radio station. But for many users, this promise has turned into disappointment.
“I got the bonuses (Material/Career) around the first or second day of play, but I still don’t have the Battle Pass since the season launched,” reported a player on Reddit.
Compensation announced… but invisible
Faced with these complaints, EA would have sent an automatic message promising a fix. According to an email relayed by a user, “Anyone affected by this issue should have received rewards in their inbox by now. Affected players have received: 12 Materials, 12 60-minute Career Boosters, Full access to the Season 1 Battle Pass.”
Except that in fact, this compensation does not appear to have been deliveredaccording to several consistent testimonies. Some claim have contacted EA several timesreceiving the same generic message every timewithout concrete action behind.
On Reddit, comments are piling up: other players confirm having experienced the same problemwithout a clear official response from EA. No publication on the official X account (Twitter), nor on the Battlefield support site, mentions this bug at this time.
A problem that comes at the worst time
This battle pass bug falls as Battlefield 6 tries to restore its image with a season 1 full of new features. The game notably offers a new battle royale mode, free downloadable contentand a controversial new map, Blackwell Fields.
But these problems with the delivery of paid content weaken the relationship between EA and its community. The most engaged players—those who spend on Premium editions—feel ignored or wrongedespecially since official communication is lacking.
While season 1 has only just begun, the studio will have to react quicklyotherwise frustration will permanently taint this first phase of content.
